Listen to old speaker tapes from the 1600 Club and more!
Old speaker tapes from the 1600 Club were donated to Speakers Through Speakers, who are processing the tapes. In their own words:
What is Speakers Through Speakers?
What we do:
* Pick a new tape at random each week to be converted to mp3.
* Listen to it at our weekly AA Zoom meeting.
* Edit the talk for audio clarity and anonymity.
* Save it to our own cloud archive.
* Upload it to our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@speakersthroughspeakers
Subscribe to the YouTube channel to be notified when we upload a new batch of speakers periodically.
We are not currently asking for more tapes to convert for our Sat 7:30pm meeting as we have enough for years to come.
If you’d like to be of service at our Saturday night meeting, start another Speakers Through Speakers meeting on another night of the week, and/or are local and are willing to listen to, edit & convert cassettes to mp3s please email SpeakersThroughSpeakers@gmail.com.
